FLAMINGLES BI-ANNUAL MEETING

Held @ the Tampa RV Show
January 16, 2010

Meeting called to order at 3:05 by Sue Spahn.

Sue thanked everyone for braving the cold weather for a 2nd year in a row.

Old Business:
The Flamingles got $500 from LTV 2 years ago. Previously spent $246.11 on letters & mailings. Spent $164.54 this rally, leaving a balance of $81.57. 

Sue suggested that next year would require a Rally Fee. Everyone agreed to pay $10 per unit now to supplement funds. This was done.

New Business:
Spring Rally the 3rd week in April; 16, 17, 18 & 19. Merrill will post info on Yahoo Group for Holiday Park, Fort Pierce and Dubucs will post info on COE park @ Ortona @ LaBell, FL. Highland Hammocks and Little Willies is also being considered. 

Randy mentioned the Florida Folk Festival, White Springs in a state park for a meeting next year. 

John suggested that we all be more active on the web site with travels and problems (with solutions). Sue will start a thread.

The show will be open tomorrow, but everyone must be out of the rally parking by 5 pm. There will be a chicken tonight @ 5 pm paid for by Leisure Travel. The pizza dinner on Wednesday was sponsored by Nokomis RV. Prizes were distributed at a game on Wednesday afternoon.

The FL RV Rally here at the fairgrounds will be the site of the Jan. 2011 meeting, a year from now.

Meeting adjourned @ 5 pm for our chicken dinner with entertainment following.
